Promoting educational tools in the village of Pramat Dey

The situation in the village of Pramat Dey

Pramat Dey is Léa Phâléap's native village near Kampong Cham, where we installed wells. It was there that we first encountered families who had given up sending their children to school.

Uncertain futures…

Unfortunately, we have witnessed, helplessly, these recurring situations, like that of Léa's cousin, whose parents refused to allow her to go to school because they deemed it inaccessible. The little girl we met in 2019 is now a house cleaner in Phnom Penh, and we can consider she has been lucky...

Stories that repeat themselves!

This example, unfortunately, is not isolated in the village. SEAJA is committed to changing the future of the families and children of Pramat Dey by creating the necessary conditions to enable them to access education.

Support and collaboration

SEAJA Projects

SEAJA aims to establish regional dynamics by relying on local teams united by common objectives and shared motivation, in order to launch and support projects to create primary classes.

Promoting the Pramat Dey school project

SEAJA's next mission, with the prospect of creating a school in the village, is planned for the beginning of 2026: the objective is to prepare for the start of the 2027 school year!

An essential local involvement

As with the well projects, the school project will again be developed in consultation with the local authorities (village chief).

SEAJA can rely on its local coordinators (based in Kampong Cham and Kampong Thom) to intervene effectively in the village.
