It's the girls' turn!

With the roof of the boys' dormitory now repaired, we're taking care of the girls'. The cement building needs its fiber cement roof replaced, as it has long since exceeded its lifespan. Sourcing materials has been complicated due to tensions between Cambodia and Thailand, making it difficult to purchase them. The cost of materials has also been impacted by this crisis between the two neighbors, but overall, we're staying within budget. This work is technically simpler, and the weather is cooperating!

For this building, it was also crucial to replace the window and door frames, which had been completely deteriorated by time and insects. This work is currently underway.

A huge congratulations to Ramine for his remarkable efficiency in managing the local launch and monitoring of the project. At the end of January, we will officially accept the completed work, congratulate Ramine, and, we hope, return with children's smiles to share!
