Renovation of the Kampong Thom orphanage

With SEAJA, let's renovate the Kampong Thom orphanage!

In June 2025, we visited the Kampong Thom orphanage, which we have been supporting for 20 years. Since the post-Covid period, the orphanage, deprived of the resources necessary to maintain its infrastructure, has deteriorated considerably.

Essential restoration!

Here we detail the essential work that needs to be carried out to renovate the roofs, bathrooms and door frames, thereby ensuring a dignified living environment for the children in our care.

Resume tutoring sessions quickly!

These repairs are an essential preliminary step towards resuming the tutoring classes we are planning for the 76 children currently staying at the centre, including 42 orphans and 34 children from disadvantaged families in the surrounding villages.

The restoration of the Orphanage

After a thorough visit and detailed assessment of the orphanage with Ramine in June 2025, we requested and obtained quotes for the work we consider essential and urgent. In a second project, we will consider re-equipping the classrooms, particularly the computer room, whose equipment is completely obsolete and unusable.
